  Visited store around noon to purchase some flu meds. When I approached the checkout, one customer was there, no clerk. I waited a bit, then a clerk stumbled to register. Seems the waiting customer wanted to send 2(?) money orders. He started the transaction, which I could tell would take a while. I told him I didn't want to wait (no offer made to open a second register) . I left, as I had other errands to run. I returned to the store yin a half hour, and purchased my DayQuil. When asking for the sale price, I gave him my phone number. When the number was invalid, he realized he entered wrong area code. Finally the number was accepted. I took my purchase home (I was in a hurry because of impending snow storm) and, when I opened it, I realized that the purchase, which was nearly $14, was out of date. So, I made a third trip back to the CVS. The return was made with an apology on managers part. Seemed that the end cap boxes were in date but those in the aisle were expired. Those dates should have been checked when they were placed for sale, after all, You are a pharmacy. My three trips to CVS today were two too many!
